My name is Shamim Khorsand, I am originally from Iran. I moved to the States in 1978. Between 2002 and 2014 I lived in the Netherlands where I practiced Chiropractic. I have been involved in real estate for the last 25 years. My journey began as an investor, buying, renovating, and selling homes in the 90’s. It was a hobby that I enjoyed next to my full-time occupation as a Chiropractor.
In 2017, I decided to focus full-time on real estate. As I began working with buyers and saw firsthand the positive effects of homeownership on people’s lives, I realized my new passion and purpose moving forward was to help people become homeowners.

Depending on an individuals specific circumstances and the area they are looking at, there are many public programs available to make home ownership more attainable. I offer monthly homeownership seminars at my office in Marina del Rey. The seminar goes over the steps necessary to become a homeowner from A-Z.

We decided to sell our condo in El Segundo, CA in Jan. 2021 and use the money to buy a house of equal or less value. We had no idea how to go about this process. He knew what needed to be done to increase the condo’s value and attract buyers without us putting too much money into it. Upgrading the condo took longer than we anticipated due the COVID but once we put our condo on the market, it was sold right away with a price we’re very happy with.
When it comes to buying our house. We decided to buy it from a city that is 90 miles away from where we used to live and even further for Shamin. He drove there to show us some houses to get us familiar with the market in the city. The market was VERY competitive for buying but we were able to find and close on a house within a month after we sold our condo.
Shamin is very knowledgeable in what he does but does not overstep in what customers want. He is very easy to work with. We now live in a very nice house in a beautiful city with outstanding schools for our daughter thanks to Shamin.

Module 2: Contracts and disclosures
This module covers the components of the “The Offer” or Residential Purchase Agreement as well as many of the disclosures that you will encounter during the transaction. I will schedule a time with you one-on-one to cover this module once you have been pre-approved by a lender of your choice and have decided on what type of property you would like to purchase and the area you would like to be in.
